Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled coating film having excellent absorbance and thermal emissivitiy, at a low cost, by coating a substrate with a paint containing an acrylic emulsion resin as a binder and an inorganic black pigment having specific particle size.
CONSTITUTION: The objective coating film is prepared by coating substrate with a paint containing (A) an acrylic emulsion as a binder, and (B) an inorganic black pigment having a particle diameter of 0.01W0.5μm[pref. an oxide or composite oxide of Fe, Mn, Cu, Cr, Co and/or Ni (esp. Fe2O3, MnO2, CuO and the like)]. The weight ratio of the component B to the component A is pref. 1/10W4/5 in view of the coating film characteristics and the film adhesivity.
USE: Applied to the surface of a heat collector to collect the solar energy.
