Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a degree of separation with a simple constituion, by providing a means by which respective detection output levels of left and right signals are equal to an antenna input just before they are led into a matrix circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal outputted from an intermediate frequency amplifying circuit 4 is applied to an AGC circuit 5, an AM detecting circuit 6, and a limiter and FM detecting circuit 7, and the detection output of the circuit 7 is inputted to an integrating circuit 8. The output of the AGC circuit 5 is applied to not only a high frequency amplifying circuit 1 and the circuit 4 to control the gain but also a voltage control amplifier 11, to which the output of the integrating circuit 8 is inputted, through a DC amplifier 10 to control the amplifier 11. A differential signal L-R between a left signal L and a right signal R from the amplifier 11 is applied to a matrix circuit 9, and values of the left signal L and the right signal R are equalized just before a signal L+R outputted from the detecting circuit 6 is inputted to the circuit 8, thus improving a degree of separation with a simple circuit constitution.
