Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate a control signal with an excellent S/N ratio even when a playback speed is low, by generating a playback control signal by processing the output signal of a magnetic flux response type head through an AC coupled amplifier and a waveform shaping circuit. CONSTITUTION:The playback output voltage of a magnetic flux response head 19 of a magnetic-resistance effect type, etc., is supplied to the capacitor 104 of a coupling stage 23 to eliminate a DC component with corresponds to fluctuations of temperature. A cutoff frequency is adjusted with a time constant determined by the capacitor 104 and a resistance 105 to detect even a low-speed playback output voltage excellent. Further, as the time constant is decreased through a switch 106, the cpacitor 104 is stabilized smoothly during electric power feed. Therefore, a playback control voltage stable even during low-speed reproduction is applied as an amplification output from an amlifier 24 equipped with an AC coupled offset adjusting resistance 108, etc., through a coupling stage 23 to a waveform shaping circuit 26 through an output signal coupling stage 25 equipped with a temperature-characteristic correcting capacitor 112 as well as the cupling stage 23. In this constitution, the playback control signal with an excellent S/N ratio is generated even when a playback speed is low.
