Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the temperature characteristics through no adjustment of a bias current adjusting circuit, by controlling a DC bias current so that a no error can be caused in comparison with a reference value.
CONSTITUTION: A signal current flowing to an output transistor (TR)Q3 is detected by a linear detection circuit 4. This detection output becomes an inverting input to an operational amplifier A2. The operational amplifier A2 outputs a differential voltage between a reference voltage E0 and a detected output as an error voltage. A variable bias circuit 2 can control a base bias of TRs Q1 and Q2 in accordance with the conductive state of a TRQ9. Thus, an idle current of an output TR can be controlled by applying the error voltage to the base of the TRQ9. Since the idle current can be controlled accurately with a reference voltage E0, the bias current can be constant immediately after the application of power supply.
