Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to obtain a precise steering force and steering feeling suitable for all steering conditions, by a method wherein, through the addition of a power shift control to a control by car speed, a combination control is performed by a steering angle and a lateral direction acceleration speed.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of running at more than a middle speed, or if a rapid turn steering is conducted under the condition of less working oil amount, a steering angle speed sensor 10 works at an initial time of a turn steering, and the signal causes a control circuit 8 to change an energizing current to an electromagnetic solenoid 7. This moves a valve 2 so that the faster a turn steering speed is, the more working oil amount to a control valve 3 increases, which results in preventing a delay in a feed of a required oil amount. Meanwhile, a reaction force of a type T increases at the latter half of the turn steering, and this causes working of a lateral direction acceleration sensor 11. The signal enables the control circuit 8 to control the energizing current to the solenoid 7, and this allows the valve 2 to operate so that a working a oil amount reduces.
