Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the agglomeration of non-magnetic, non-conductive materials and exactly separate non-magnetic conductive materials for preventing the lowering of recovery efficiency by using a method in which the turning speed of an inclined cylinder to treat mixed materials is variable accroding to the degree of wetting of the mixed materials. CONSTITUTION:Mixed materials 30 from which magnetic materials are beforehand removed by a magnetic sorter are charged through a belt conveyoer 32, etc., into the upper end opening 36a of an inclined cylinder 30, during which a cylinder 12 is turned around its central axis 22 at a desired turning speed through a driving roller 18 by means of a variable-speed motor 38. And, the turning number of the cylinder 12 is controlled according to the wetting degree of the materials 30, or the inclined angle of the cylinder 12 is automatically controlled to move the materials 30 to the lower end opening 36b of the cylinder 12.
