Abstract

PURPOSE:To calcuate the mean value of a correct data before and after an error data, by processing respective corresponding bits of correct data right before the error data and that right after the error data in time series. CONSTITUTION:Input data a1-aN are stored temporarily in a parallel/series converting circuit 10 and, each time a clock signal (c) is applied, supplied by one bit in time series to an input data storage circuit 11 and a one-bit signal selecting circuit 12. Simultaneously, an error detection signal (b) corresponding to the input data is stored in a correction commanding circuit 17. The circuit 17, when detecting an error, sends a control signal to the circuit 11 to store the circuit 11 with only correct date, computed before the error detection, in time series. The circuit 17 also sends a correction command signal to the circuit 12 when correct input data following the error data arrives. On receiving it, the circuit 12 selects the correct data right after the error occurrence and inputs them to a mean-value calculating circuit 16, which calculates the mean value of the input data and the correct data right before the error occurrence from the circuit 11 to output the result.
