Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce fine air bubbles efficiently with less energy by ejecting a gas into liquid applied with vibrations from a nozzle and splitting the gas into fine air bubbles. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 2 opened at top side is installed in a liquid tank 1, and a diaphragm 4 is disposed on the outside circumferential surface of this body 2 and is driven by a vibration generator 3. A gas is blown from the lower part of the body 2 via a diffusion nozzle 5. When the vibrations of liquid at interface are transmitted to the gas from the nozzle 5, the gas and the liquid vibrate vigorously, and the gas is made into fine air bubbles which are conducted from the body 2 to the liquid tank 1. Fine air bubbles are produced efficiently with such simple device.
