Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the chances for power consumption of a primary battery of a high cost as far as possible by consuming the secondary battery accumulating the output of solar batteries in preference to the primary battery. CONSTITUTION:The electric power generated in solar batteries 12 by photodetection is accmulated in a secondary battery 14 through a reverse flow blocking diode 13. When a release switch 16 is closed, a voltage decision circuit 17 compares the output of the battery 14 with a preset reference voltage value, and when it decides that the output of the battery 14 is above the reference voltage value, it closes a switching circuit 18 and opens a switching circuit 19. When it decides that the output of the battery 14 has not arrived at the reference voltage, it opens the circuit 18 and closes the circuit 19. Since in this way the battery 14 acts as a power source in preference to the battery 20, the results are lessened consumption of the battery 20 of a high cost and maximum utilization of the output of the battery 12. When the voltage of the battery 14 has dropped at the time of photographing in a dark place, the battery 20 is operated as a power source and therefore, missing of a shutter chance does not occur.
