Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an A-D converter of a simple circuit constitution, by using a comparing circuit and a gate circuit instead of analogue switches. CONSTITUTION:Analogue signals E1-En are inputted to a sample hold circuit 1; and when a hold signal is given from a selecting circuit 12, an input signal is held. This hold output is applied to comparators COM1-COMn of a comparing circuit 10 and is compared with an output Es of a D/A converter 14. A low-level signal is outputted in case of Es>=E1-En, and a high-level signal is outputted in case of Es<E1-En. Output signals of comparators COM1-COMn are inputted to a successive comparing register 13 through respective AND circuits AND1-ANDn and an OR circuit OR of a gate circuit 11. These AND circuits AND1-ANDn are controlled by the selecting circuit 12.
