Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate signal processing at a center by decreasing the number of kinds of operation commands, by commanding different operations of an unmanned guided vehicle by operations signals having the same frequency or different frequencies in the same combination. CONSTITUTION:To stop an unmanned guided vehicle 1 at a station, a switch 6 is turned on at the center and a generating circuit 5 generates and flows an operation signal of a prescribed frequency (e.g., f1) to a signal line 4. To pass the vehicle through the station, the switch 6 is turned on and the current is not flowed to the signal line 4. The unmanned guided vehicle 1, when approaching the station, checks whether the operation signal flows through the signal line 4 or not on the basis of the output of a pickup coil 3. When so, it checks whether the signal has the fre- quency f1 showing a stop command or not and, when the signal, has the frequency f1, starts stopping operation; when it stops at a prescribed position in the station, a signal showing the arrival at the center is sent out.
