Abstract
PURPOSE:To allow an automatic running dolly to run until its destination without any trouble even when an obstacle resides on the 1st passage, by automatically run the dolly via the 2nd passage when its run is disturbed during the run on the 1st passage. CONSTITUTION:In a floor 1 on which a dolly 2 runs, a guide line 2 for establishing a magnetic field by being fed with a low frequency current is embeded extending along the 1st passages 2a-2c and the 2nd passage 2d, thereby allowing the dolly 3 to run automatically along the 1st passages 2a-2c or 2nd passage 2d. If an obstacle which disturbs the run of the dolly 3 resides at a point 5 on the passage 2b, the obstacle is detected by a switch, etc., installed on the floor 1. Once the obstacle is detected by the switch, etc., a logical circuit provided to the dolly 3 generates a dolly stop signal and after the dolly 3 is stopped, a backward run command signal is generated to permit the dolly 3 to run until its destination via the 2nd passage 2d. This 2nd passage 2d is provided where disturbance by an obstacle is estimated.
