Abstract

PURPOSE:To suck and recover residual magnetic toner on a photoreceptor completely by providing a cleaning roller, rotatable around the external peripheral part of the 1st magnet, in the axial direction of the photoreceptor, and a recovery roller, rotatable around the external peripheral part of the 2nd magnet, along the cleaning roller. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning roller 25 and a recovery roller 26 are provided along the shaft of a photoreceptor 18, and magnetic toner separated from the recovery roller 26 by a separating mechanism 27 is collected in a recovery box 28. The cleaning roller 25 has a sleeve 29 of a nonmagnetic material having a fur member 30 around the external periphery and in the sleeve 29, a semicircular-sectioned magnet 31 is arranged. The recovery roller 26 has a semicircular-sectioned magnet 34 in a nonmagnetic-material sleeve 33, and the angles between the N poles and S1 poles and S2 poles of these magnets 31 and 34 is so determined that the magnetic toner is sucked efficiently.
