Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase an engaging ratio for reduction gear and avoid trochoid interference on an internal contour of an internal gear with an outer contour of a small gear, by using a conical volute gear as a small gear so as to allow a rotary shaft of the small gear to intersect a rotary shaft of the internal gear with a predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION:When an input shaft 2 is rotated, precession shaft part 15 performs precession rotary motion around a cross point P between axial center lines 0-0 and PQ as a flucrum with a precession rotary angle alpha deg.. Then, an eccentric weight swung by the angle alpha deg. with respect to the axial center line 0-0 serves as an arm permitting planetary gears to revolve, causing a cylindrical ring 17 and the first and second conical gears 18, 19 to revolve in a form of precession. Due to the precession rotary motion, a fixed internal gear 10 is partially engaged with the first conical gear 18 to allow power to be transmitted, and the first conical gear 18 is rotated so that it can be disengaged with the fixed internal gear 10 by the precession rotary angle alpha deg. set in the trochoid interference area.
