Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a molding having excellent electroconductivity by use of a small amount of metal, by coating the surface of fine plastic powder with a conductive metal such as silver or copper and then compression-molding the coated powder or binding the powder to the surface of a molding.
CONSTITUTION: A composite powder, average particle size 10W1,000μm, is formed by coating the surface of fine plastic powder with at least one metal having excellent conductivity, selected from the group consisting of silver, copper, aluminum, nickel, gold, platinum and tin by a method such as nonelectrolytic plating, silver mirror reaction or vapor deposition, o form a film, 3W25wt%. Next, the resulting composite powder is compression-molded or bound to the surface of a preformed plastic molding by a method such as fluidized bed coating to form a conductive film.
