Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Planar heat absorbing plates consisting of a substance having a quality excellent in heat transfer rate and heat resistance, such as stainless steel of austenite system, are accommodated and installed at an interval in the vertical direction in a multistage shape, within the inner cylinder 1 of the recuperator. The heat of waste gas is absorbed within the inner cylinder 1, and heat absorbing bars for transferring the heat are respectively installed within the inner cylinder 1 forming the solid radiation are installed correspondingly to each stage of the heat absorbing plate 6. These heat absorbing bars 7 are formed by materials having excellent heat resistance and radiation ratio, such as stainless steel, graphite or bricks.
