Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the heat transmitting effect of the heat quantity retained by waste gas and improve the recovery efficiency of waste heat by attaching a heat-transmitting heat absorbing plate to the inner surface, ina radiation type recuperator.
CONSTITUTION: Planar heat absorbing plates 6 formed by a material having a quality excellent in heat transfer rate and heat resistance, such as stainless steel of austenite, are accommodated and installed in a multistage type at a predetermined interval toward the vertical direction, in the inner cylinder 1 of the recuperator. On the other hand, radiation plates 7 for increasing the heat transfer on the air side, is provided on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 1. The heat absorbing plate 6 comes into contact with waste gas, and absorbs heat, and transmits the heat in the form of transfer to the inner cylinder 1 which is the heat transfer surface. By making contact with substances which do not radiate such as O2, N2 and the like within the waste gas, the heat absorbing plates absorb the heat retained by these substances and transmit the heat to the inner cylinder 1. Hence, it is possible to effectively improve the recovery of waste heat.
