Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently collect excess water, gathering at an outer circumference of a concrete drainage path, into water permeating hole through a chaff layer, by a method wherein the chaff layer is formed in a manner to be connected to a water permeating hole part in a concrete drainage path, being directed outwardly and diagonally to the lower part.
CONSTITUTION: A concrete drainage path 2, in which water permeating holes 2 are formed, is placed at a channel bottom of an excavated part 1 in a field. After the excavated part is then reburied up to the lower side line, of the water-permeating hole 12, which is approximately equal to a saturated water lelvel 6, chaff layers 4 are formed in a manner to be connected to said hole 12, being directed diagonally to the lower part, and the spaces above the chaff levers 4 are reburied. As a result, excess water around the concrete drainage path 2 is discharged to the concrete drainage path 2 through the chaff layer 4 from the water permeating holes 12. The chaff itself forms a filter layer, and this permits the elimination of the need for a filter material, being employed to prevent suction, even at a sandy area having a better permeability. Additionally, the chaff is decreased in corrosion and deterioration if it is always under a water surface, and as a result, a water-collecting effect can be maintained for a long period of time.
