Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a cylinder considerably by performing specific ratios of thickness reduction and finishing to prescribed wall thickness of a perform respectively with spinning devices for primary and secondary working. CONSTITUTION:A perform cylinder W1 is mounted to the mandrel 1 of a spinning device for primary working, and the wall thickness of the cylinder W1 is reduced by 60-80%. Since this working is carried out by the device made to high rigidity, the cylinder W1 can be formed to a thin walled cylinder of substantial accuracy with less thickness deviation and eccentricity.
