Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the degree of freedom of a system and to improve the plant efficiency, by driving steam turbine by the steam output power for heat recovery of the heat exchanger at the outlet of a gasification furnace so that electricity is generated and to generate electricity at a compound generating part by using a purified gas.
CONSTITUTION: The heat exchanger 22 is set at the outlet part of the gasification furnace 3, the steam turbine 23 of heat recovery is drived by the steam output power for heat recovery of the heat exchanger to generate electricity, and the gas temperature at the outlet of the heat exchanger 22, etc. is controlled in such way that the gas purification process, e.g., the dust collector 6, etc. is made in the fittest condition by controlling the amount of electricity generation, so that the exhaust gas is purified. The purified gas is introduced to the compound generating part consisting of the gas turbine part 9 and the steam turbine part 16, and electricity is generated.
