Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance product appearance without necessitating troubles by a method wherein a protruded rib is formed at a contact position of a resin panel with other mold and said protruded rib is closely contacted to the other mold to pour a foamable liquid and, thereby, leakage of the foamable liquid is prevented. CONSTITUTION:A protruded rib 9 is formed to a contact position 2a of a resin panel 2 corresponding 2 to a flange part 5a of a surface skin 5 along a flange part thereof. When foaming molding is carried out, the resin panel 2 is conformed to one mold, that is, an upper mold 6 and the surface skin 5 to other mold, that is, a lower mold 7 respectively and, while both molds 6, 7 are fitted and pressurized to closely contact the protruded rib 9 and the flange part 5a of the surface skin 5, a foamed layer 4 is formed. In this case, because pressing force of both molds 6, 7 is acted linearly through the protruded rib 9, contact force is made high and the surface skin 5 and the resin panel 2 are certainly and closely contacted and sealed to prevent leakage of a foamable liquid.
