Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and inexpensive mold for a small scale production by equipping a liner frame provided integrally with a reinforcing rib on the internal wall inside a die, a die insert having the surface of a molding part provided by flame spray etc. and a backing material filled between them. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing rib 2c is molded integrally inside a die 2 with which a liner frame 3 having hollow parts inwardly is provided in contact, a die insert 4 making up the surface of the molding part is provided by flame spray or electroforming under the liner frame 3 and the space between the liner frame 3 and the die insert 4 is filled with backing material (epoxy resin or grouting material is preferred) to comprise an upper die 1. Similarly, a lower die 11 comprises a mold body 12, a liner frame 13, a die insert 14 and backing material 16.
