Abstract

As a soon as the revolution speed of the prime mover has reaches a level N2 corresponding to the capacity of the compressor at its second capacity control stage, the revolution speed of the prime mover is shifted to the maximum level N1 and the compressor is simultaneously put at the second capacity control stage. According to such a method, the capacity of the compressor which could be controlled only be stages originally can be controlled in a stepless manner. For that reason, the compressor can be efficiently driven.
