Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easier the construction of a foundation beam as well as shorten the construction period by a method in which beam is precast, installed on footing, and then fixed with cement mortar, and then concrete is filled in the intersection to construct the foundation.
CONSTITUTION: A square reinforced concrete beam 6 is manufactured by combining iron bars formed by welding the contacts of downward and upward bent bars 1 and 3, horizontal bars 2, and 4, and vertical strip 5 in a factory. The beam 6 is installed on a footing constructed in site and then fixed with cement mortar 7, and concrete 8 is placed in the intersections of each beam 6 to construct a desired foundation. Thus, the weight of steel material used can be reduced because of its excellent dynamical characteristics, and also the saving of the form and the shortening of construction period can be attained because of factory production of the consturction materials.
