Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of constructing concrete footing, by arranging horizontal reinforcing bars at a position located upwardly of foundation pile, erecting vertical anchor bars on the top surface of the foundation pile and fixing them securely in place by way of arc stud welding, and thereafter pouring concrete in the region where the above reinforcing bars are arranged.
CONSTITUTION: After foundation pile 1 is driven into the ground and layer 2 of crushed stone is formed, horizontal reinforcing bars 8 are arranged at a position a certain distance spaced upward from the upper surface of cover plate 9 of the foundation pile 1. These horizontal bars 8 consists of longitudinal bars 6 and lateral bars 7 arranged with proper spacing from each other. Then, a required number of vertical anchor bars 4 are erected on the upper surface of foundation pile 1 and extended upward through the meshes of longitudianl and lateral bars 6, 7. Lower end portions of the vertical bars 4 are fixed in place by way of welding 12. Concrete footing is completed by pouring concrete 13 in the region where the above reinforcing bars are arranged. Thus, arrangement of horizontal bars 8 can be simplified and also vertical bars 4 can be erected securely and with ease.
