Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an infrared-ray reflective filter having less loss of visible radiation by forming a transparent conductive film on at least one surface of a transparent substrate and by providing on the surface or opposite surface a multipleinterference thin film whose minimum value of spectral transmittivity is within the 0.8-1.2mum range. CONSTITUTION:On a transparent substrate 1 of borosilicate glass, a transparent conductive film 2 of In oxide obtained by doping, for example, Sn is provided. On it, layers of ZnS3a and MgF23b are laminated by turns each to thickness lambda/4 (lambda= 0.9mumu). Consequently, a filter which has less loss of visible radiation and cuts off most of infrared rays is obtained.
