Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the visible-ray transmittance and thermic-ray reflectivity of the title glass by forming a silver film with tungsten oxide films of a spectifed thickness attached to both sides on the inside of one sheet of laminated glass.
CONSTITUTION: Thermic-ray reflecting laminated glass used as a car windowpane, esp. a windshield is produced by laminating two glass sheets with an interlayer of polyvinyl butyral, polyurethane or the like in-between. At this time, on the inside of one sheet a three-layer thermic-ray reflecting film consisting of a 80W115Å silver film and 180W500 or 1400W1600Å thick tungsten oxide films attached to both sides of the silver film is formed by vacuum deposition or other method. Thus, the visible-ray transmittance of the glass is regulated to 70% or more, the visible-ray reflectivity to 12% or less, and the sun's- ray transmittance to 65% or less.
