Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove the moisture from rice without changing the temperature of circulating air and adjust the moisture in the rice finely, by means of a heat pump cooling, dehumidifying and heating apparatus using a freezing cycle provided in the air circulating path of a moisture adjusting room, e.g. a "koji" room.
CONSTITUTION: A net plate 2 is provided in a "koji" preparing room 1 for carrying out the moisture adjustment to separate an air feeding part 3 from an air expelling part 4. An air supply pipe 5 is joined to an air expelling pipe 6 to form an air circulating path. A heat pump cooling, dehumidifying and heating apparatus 8 is provided in the course of the air circulating path to carry out the cooling and heating by a compressor 9, and the formed waterdrops are removed by a drain pipe 10.
