Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the surface from becoming dirty, by charging a toner by friction in the opposite polarity of the charging polarity which is contributed to formation of a picture. CONSTITUTION:A toner 12 which is held on the surface of a toner roller 11 by electrostatic power is charged by a recording electrode 3, is selectively charged in accordance with a picture signal 16, and is transferred on paper S by a transfer roller 17. When the toner is charged by friction in the same polarity as voltage of the picture signal 16 by the head part of the recording electrode 3, the surface becomes dirty, therefore, the head part is constituted of a material by which the charge becomes to have the opposite polarity.
