Abstract
PURPOSE:To elevate the connecting accuracy, by installing a perforated disk body to the tip of a plug tube which has formed a stepped hole. CONSTITUTION:A stepped hole 11 whose outside diameter and inside diameter have been made large and small, respectively, is formed in the center of an optical fiber connecting end part 10A of a plug tube 10, and to this stepped part 12, a disk body 13 (for instance, a jewel of a watch) having a hole 13A which is little large than the diameter of an optical fiber 14, and a guide 13B is installed, the tip of the optical fiber 14 is inserted, the inside of the plug tube 10 is filled with an adhesive agent 15, and the optical fiber 14 and the tube 10 are made to adhere tightly in one body. In this way, since a disk body which has been perforated in advance is used, it is unnecessary to perforate directly the tip of the plug tube, and since the working accuracy is elevated, a loss of light in the connecting part is reduced.
