Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent knocking by providing a switching valve in a negative pressure piping to a negative advanced angle means and by expediting the release of a negative pressure at a sudden acceleration. CONSTITUTION:At the normal operation, the negative pressure in an outlet 22 is led into a negative pressure chamber 40 of a negative pressure advanced angle means, a spring 34 setting at an advanced angle is bent, according to the negative pressure, and the amount of the advanced angle is determined via a breaker plate 38. When an internal combustion engine is turned into the state of sudden acceleration, and if the angle of a throttle valve 19 exceeds a certain value, a full-open switch 54 is closed. The signal from a knocking sensor 51 is sent to a VSV driving circuit 55 together with the fuel-open switch signal via a knock F/B computer 52. Detecting these two cnditions, a negative pressure switching valve 56 is switched to the atmospheric side due to the signal of VSV driving circuit 55 and the negative pressure advanced angle is released.
