Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize pulse arcs over a wide welding current range by integrating the input voltage of a variable DC electric power source, comparing the same with the output value of a pulse width setter, and ditcributing and transmitting the gate signals corresponding to the same to phase control elements.
CONSTITUTION: The outputs of transformers 2, 9 are subjected to signal conversion in a phase shifter 11 so as to have preset pulse width. In a basic pulse generator 12, the voltage V1 of a frequency setter 131 is inputted to an integrator 14, and output voltage V2 is obtained by the product of the value of an input resistance 20 and the capacity of a capacitor 16 and the gradient determined by the voltage V1. When this voltage V2 goes higher than set voltage V3, positive pulse voltage G is generated in a comparator 15, and is fed back to a switching element 17. When the pulse G enters a gate pulse generator 18, this triggers the generator to generate a pulse H of short width.
