Abstract
PURPOSE:To put a detection switch in operation by switching time-limiting operation by setting three conditions of one-shot, on-delay and off-delay operations by using two unipolar one-shot switches. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 15 is closed, an input to either one of EXORs 5 and 11 is low, so the EXORs 5 and 11 operate as buffers. A resistance 3, on the other hand, serves as a load on an EXOR1 and a capacitor 2 and a resistance form a differentiating circuit. Its time constant is set much smaller than that of a timer circuit 19 and it can be disregarded. When a signal pulse (a) is outputted from a photoelectric detecting circuit 17, the EXOR5 outputs a pulse (b) with the positive polarity. A transistor (TR)7 turns on only for time t2 to charge a capacitor 9 in the time t2, and the TR7 turns off to discharge the capacitor 9, thereby raising the collector potential of the TR7 with a time constant T determined by a variable resistor 8. The output of an EXOR10, when reaching a threshold level V, is inverted and a one-shot pulse (d) is obtained through an EXOR11.
