Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable initial diagnosis at power restoration surely without impairing the information for restarting processing, by diagnosing the data transfer route through a shunting routine. CONSTITUTION:If a power failure detecting mechanism I of a power supply controller 6 detects a power failure, a processor 3 stores required information for the restart of interrupted processing(JOB) to a shunting area B of the main storage device 1. This shunting operation is made with a power failure/power restoration processing routine E of a control memory 2. When the mechanism I detects power restoration, the shunting data L in the shunting area B of the main storage device 1 and the power failure/power restoration processing routine E in the processing area F of the control memory 2 are stored in a buffer area J of a disc device 5. A part of data of the shunting data L' and L is again read out for comparison, and if the normality is confirmed, the initial diagnostic program K is executed.
