Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an automatic stopping device of a tape recorder which is capable of reducing the cost with simple constitution, by installing a means that detects the change of a current waveform as a rotary pulse plus a means that permits the next pulse to pass only for a specific period of the normal period of the rotary pulse. CONSTITUTION:An input terminal 121 of a rotary pulse detecting circuit 12 is connected to a point of connection between a resistance R1 and the collector of a transistor Q1. A gate circuit 127 is put between a differential amplifying part 122 at the detecting part 12 and a monostable multivibrator 123, and at the same time a monostable multivibrator 128 is newly added to control the gate period of the circuit 127. This vibrator 128 is triggered by the output supplied from the part 122, and this output period is set at the value of about 1.5-fold length as long as the rotary pulse period of the normal time. In such way, the state of rotation can be assuredly detected for a reel turntable without adding any exclusive element and causing any malfunction.
