Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an original from floating when a pressure plate is opened by bringing the original into contact with the reverse surface of the original during copying operation, and by leaving the original on contact glass by separating the pressure plate from the reverse surface when the original is taken out from the contact glass. CONSTITUTION:On the surface where a pressure plate 3 opposes to contact glass, i.g., the reverse surface, beltlike separation plates 5 extending along the filding lines of the pressure plate 3 are fitted. Each separation plate 5 is made of a thin plate of synthetic resin and then fixed on one side edge part on the said reverse surface by a bonding means, etc., at a bent fitting piece part 5'. The bent edge part of the separation plate 5 serves as a highforce separating from the said reverse surface is applied by its elastic force of the part; when the pressure plate 3 is separated from the contact lens, it is separated from the said reverse surface at a prescribed angle as shown in the figure.
