Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently reclaim a tire, by arranging a vulcanized tread rubber member, an unvulcanized, electrically conductive cushion rubber member and a tire casting one upon the other, and feeding an electric current to the electrically conductive cushion rubber member to heat it.
CONSTITUTION: The vulcanized tread rubber member 1, the electrically conductive cushion rubber member or adjacent rubber member 3 having a volume resistivity of 104Ω.cm or less at a vulcanizing temperature in the range of 0W200°C that has been prepared from 100pts.wt. of a rubber constituent and 7W80pts.wt. of conductive carbon black, and the tire casing 2 are arranged one upon the other, and an electric voltage of 1W400V is applied between the ends of electrodes E to heat the inside of the tire to 100W160°C thereby vulcanizing the cushion rubber member 3 and at the same time bonding the tread rubber member 1 and the tire casing 2.
