Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operating performance as the optical sensor and a cost performance ratio, by obtaining a unitary body of a cut filter containing an organic near infrared ray absorbing agent and a light receiving element. CONSTITUTION:The organic near infrared ray cut filter 5 is bonded to a silicon photodiode (PSD)7 by a bonding agent 6 which transmits light in a visible region, a measuring device 8 is connected to the SPD7, and the optical sensor is constituted. The organic near infrared ray cut filter 5 contains the organic near infrared ray absorbing agent. Said absorbing agent is a coloring matter compound which indicates few absoption in the visible region but indicates large absorption in the near infrared region. Since the organic near infrared ray cut filter 5 has excellent light transmittance in the visible region, the output of the SPD7 is large, and the sensitivity of the SPD can be reduced in order to obtain the same output as that obtaining by using the inorganic near infrared ray cut filter. As a result, leaking currents are reduced, and the operating performance is improved. Since the material is the organic material, the cost performance ratio is improved by the incorporation with the SPD7.
