Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a hot water of substantially constant temperature all the year through in the hot water supply system utilizing solar energy according to which the water in a hot water tank is heated by a solar energy collector and which includes an additional auxiliary heat source inside the hot water tank by utilizing the auxiliary heat source for preheating the water within the hot water tank.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of solar energy collectors 1 are arranged in parallel, each of which is connected to the hot water tank 4 through a flow pipe 2 and a return pipe 3. The hot water tank 4 is supplied with water toward the bottom thereof from a water tank on the roof 5 through a water supply pipe 6. The hot water tank 4 is connected with a heater 9 through a pair of pipes 7 and 8 as the auxiliary heat source. A hot water supply pipe 11 led out of the upper part of the hot water tank 4 is led to the heater 9, so that the hot water heated properly by the heater 9 is fed out to supply positions. According to the present invention, as the heater serving as the auxiliary heat source is used for preheating the water within the hot water tank 4 and raising the temperature of the hot water supplied, a substantially constant supply temperature can be obtained all the year through.
