Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the whole apparatus small-sized as well as special attachment means for an super charger unnecessary, by attaching a supercharger to the front part of an engine through a mount rubber.
CONSTITUTION: A super charger 11 consisting of an exhausr turbine 7, a compressor 9 and a connecting rod 10 therebetween is attached to the front face of an engine 3 through a mount rubber 12 by use of screws 11b. The front face of the engine is covered with heat insulating material 13 to protect the engine 3 from heat of the supercharger 11. Thus, the vibration of the supercharger 11 and that of the engine 3 are intercepted from each other to prevent resonant vibration, and comfortable driving is attained.
