Abstract

An intermediate layer 5 which constitutes a heat insulation layer, is formed by the first and second heat insulating pipes 14, 15, and a joint 16 is constituted in such that the heat insulating pipe 15 is fitted slidably to the outer periphery of the heat insulating pipe 14. When high temperature exhaust is introduced, as arrow shows, into the exhaust conduit 4, the exhaust conduit 4 and heat insulating pipe 5 are thermally expanded by high temperature, but as this expansion is, absorbed by the joints 13, 16, the weld 12 is protected against high temperature and prevented from being damaged.
