Abstract

PURPOSE: To build up an antifreezing device simply for easy assembly and maintenance by using a heated element which is attached to the external wall of a guide cylinder of a throttle valve and connected to a heating element of an engine by a heat transfer member.
CONSTITUTION: An engine 1 has a carburetor 6 which is communicated to a crankcase 2 by an exhaust pipe 7 connected to a cylinder 3. The carburetor 6 is combined with a float chamber 8 and guide cylinder 11 of a throttle valve 9 located on the chamber. A heated element 12 rising is tightened with a band 12a onto the external face of the guide cylinder 11 and joined with one end of a heat pipe 14. The other end of the pipe 14 is united with a heating element 15 fixed around an exhaust pipe 5. When an engine 1 starts, the heating element 15 is subjected to heat of the exhaust pipe 5 and heats the heated element 12 via the heat pipe 14. The resulting hot element 12 immediately heats the guide cylinder 11. The throttle valve 9 and guide cylinder can be prevented from freezing.
