Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high capacitance capacitor and to obtain an electric circuit having a small leakage current and a small chip possesion area as well, by a method wherein a D.C. voltage applied to a junction-type capacitor is practically reduced by using diodes and a constant current power source. CONSTITUTION:A series circuit consisting of several diodes D1-Dn and a capacitor C2 is connected between the input terminal TI and the output terminal TO in a high-pass filter circuit and a constant current power source J1 is connected between the connecting point of the diode Dn and capacitor C2 and ground, and a resistor R2 is connected between the connecting point of the capacitor C2 and the output terminal TO and the ground. The D.C voltage applied to the capacitor C2 is reduced by the forward voltage at the diodes D1-Dn, so that a leakage current is reduced.
