Abstract
PURPOSE:To form the transmitting device with excellent linearity by welding a wave shaped metal diaphragm which receives fluid pressures from two points in a system to one member forming two pressure chambers and compressing the diaphragm with the other member. CONSTITUTION:A pressure difference sensor part 1 enclosing a semiconductor pressure sensor 10 is communicated to a pressure receiving part 2, with high and low pressure chambers 22 amd 32, overload protection chambers 42 and 44, and pressure introducing paths 52 and 54, and high and low pressure sealing parts are formed. Non-compressible silicon oil is filled in the inside. The peripheral parts of the high and low pressure sealing diaphragm 20 and 30 are welded to main bodies 28 and 38. The volume of the overload protection chambers 42 and 44 are larger than the pressure receiving chambers 22 and 32. A diaphragm 40 is not seated by the excessive pressure. The central diaphragm 40 comprises the wave shaped metal. The periphery thereof is welded to the main body 28, and the inside thereof is pushed by the main body 38 to the main body 28. The pressure of the fluid flowed through fluid introducing holes 24 and 34 compresses the diaphragm 20 and 30, and the pressure difference is sensed by the sensor 10. In this constitution, the transmitting device characterized by no zero point change and excellent linearity is formed.
