Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the heavy load and low temperature performance of an alkaline cell and to maintain high dischrge operational voltage at low cost by using the positive electrode compound agent being constituted by adding black lead electric conductive material to the positive electrode active substance of silver oxide and nickel oxide. CONSTITUTION:Present alkaline cell includes a positive electrode active substance whose cost has been drastically reduced by replacing a portion of silver oxide (AgO, Ag2O) at high price in positive electrode compound agent 3 with nickel oxide at low price. The whole compound agent 3 which is prepared by adding black lead to the both active substances allows to maintain for long hours the high discharge operational voltage being synthesized with the both active substances.
