PURPOSE:To increase the capability of removing residual electric charge by constituting a blade for removing static electricity of an electrically conductive composite obtained through dispersing 1-30pts.wt. conductive carbon black to 100 pts.wt. polyurethane polymer composite. CONSTITUTION:A blade 5 for removing static electricity is made of an electrically conductive composite formed so that 1-30pts.wt. conductive carbon black are dispersed to 100pts.wt. polyurethane polymer and the specific volume resistivity is <=10<4>OMEGAcm and the residual potential is -10--150V for -2,000 charging potential. After a visible image is transferred to transfer paper B, coloring powder remaining on the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 is cleaned by a cleaning blade 4 and the residual charge is removed by the blade 5 connected to the earth. Thus, when the blade for removing static electricity is used as a static electricity removing device, the capability of removing residual charge is increased, thereby eliminating a ground fogging phenomenon.
