Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an economical battery type balance of high accuracy by driving a load cell by the output of a battery bossted by a DC-DC converter and further using a reference voltage generator operated by the divided voltage thereof. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage of a battery is boosted by a DC-DC converter and a load cell is driven by this voltage, whereby the voltage signal corresponding to the load is obtained. On the other hand, a reference voltage generator is operated by part of the above-mentioned boosted voltage to obtain a reference voltage signal. Both signals are processed by an A/D converter to provide a count signal corresponding to the load, so that the weight is displayed via a control circuit. For example, the output of a battery 1 is boosted with a converter 2, and a load cell 21 is driven by this voltage to obtan the voltage signal corresponding to the load. A reference voltage generator 6 is operated by the voltage taken out from the resistance 25 of a voltage divider, and the output thereof and the above-described amplified signal are processed by an A/D converter 7, a CPU8, etc. and the resuls are displayed in a display device 9.
