Abstract

PURPOSE: To deliver the powdered grain correctly by a method wherein the timing for stopping a conveyor belt is determined by the weighing signal of a hopper scale and a forecasting information for an inflow based on a weighing signal from a conveyor scale.
CONSTITUTION: When this methos is applied for sampling a specimen in the strength measuring device of a sintered ore, the sintered ore in a hopper 2 partitioned for each grain size is delivered onto the moving belt conveyor 5 by the opening of a discharge gate 3 and is sampled. In this case, the respective weighing signals of the conveyor scale 4 and the hopper scale 5 are outputted together o an operator 6. In the operator 6, an integralvalue of the weight of the sintered ore passed on the scale 4 during a time Δt is obtained from an instantaneous passing amount on the scale 4 and is memorized in the operator 6. Next, a difference between the objective value of the weight of the sintered ore and the integrated value at a time t0 before weighing time t until the present time is obtained and the difference is compared with the weighing value of the scale 5, then, a stopping signal is outputted to stop the conveyor 1.
