Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit highly accurate discharge of fixed flow rate by a method wherein the regulating time provided for each measuring cycle of a measuring hopper is regulated according to the result of the comparison between an average flow rate in past given number of cycles and a standard flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A regulating time is provided for each cycle of the measuring discharge of a measuring hopper and regulated in length according to the difference between an average flow rate in past given number of times and a desired flow rate value. For example, the output from a load cell 11 of a measuring unit 3 annexed to a hopper 1 is applied through an amplifier 12 and an AD converter 10 to an operational controlling circuit 13, in which an average flow rate of an object being measured is calculated from the total discharge weight in past several cycles and the time and compared with the value of a desired value setting device 14 to determine the length of the regulating time. Then, according to thus determined regulating time, a relay circuit 16 and an opening/closing apparatus 15 are operated so as to open or close gates 2 and 6.
