Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the stage separation coefficient and carry out good separation by applying a magnetic field to a charged particle by an electromagnetic coil or a magnet to a direction deflecting said particle to a revolving center in a central axial direction of cylindrical chamber. CONSTITUTION:A gas to be separated is charged, revolved and injected into a cylindrical chamber 1 from a nozzle 2 having an available component to a tangential direction against a cylinder. Further, in a central axial direction of the cylindrical chamber 1, a magnetic field B having magnetic flux density made large toward a revolving center part is applied to a charge particle by an electromagnetic coil 3 or a magnet 4 to a direction deflecting said particle toward a revolving center to concentrate and separate said gas into a light gas 5 in the revolving center part and a heavy gas 6 in a peripheral part. That is, by providing separate exhaust ports 7, 8 to the center part and the peripheral part, concn. and separation efficiency of a mixture can be enhanced drastically.
